Geotech NOVA CPT

The new NOVA Cordless CPT uses radio waves to transfer the data from the probe to the surface. The radio waves travel through the hole in the sounding rods. The data capacity is approximately 1000 higher than in the sound based cordless system.
The higher capacity gives the ability, to not only increase the sample rate and resolution of the measurements from the standard geotechnical and environmental sensors, but also perform cordless SCPT or transfer real time pictures of the penetrated soil from a camera mounted in the probe. The possibilities are almost unlimited, the data speed and resolution is defined in the probe.
