MAP-pro

The MAP-pro program is applicable to visualize locations of bore-holes, soundings and other field explorations on a map background and to arrange data files with drilling and field exploration outcomes. Both a vector map and a bitmap may be used as the map background. Advanced CAD-type graphics enables the user to make full edition of vector files created with other tools (DWG and DXF formats are supported) and to create his own vector maps as well. The Program is fully compatible with CAD-type programs (AutoCAD, MicroStation). This compatibility consists in identical tier structure, substantially similar interface and graphical functionalities of similar operation.

MAP-pro is available both as a module integrated to CPT-pro and a separate software.

The Program has implemented tools to create a project structure which combines map backgrounds and files including results from drillings and explorations. This option enables effective archiving and arranging available files with field exploration results.

In case of a file including X, Y and Z coordinates, such as AGS format files, some data files of CPT static soundings , VANE-type tests, etc., the Program reads out the coordinates and automatically inserts respective symbols in the map background. For the files which include no coordinates, the tools have been implemented to create their representations on the map.
