Penetrometer Geomil 100 kN Fox-100

The 100 kN static penetrometer Fox-100 manufactured by Geomil AB (Netherlands) is a good solution for companies performing CPT tests in weak and medium soils to a depth of several to a dozen or so m. The simplicity and reliability of the design, low weight, ease of loading and maneuvering in the field with a simultaneous static pressure of 100 kN, make this penetrometer a very effective work tool and the price/value ratio of the device is exceptionally favorable in this case.
The Fox-100 penetrometer consists of a pressing device and a separate drive unit. The so-called Begemann system (mechanical cone with q_c and f_s measurement) or the CPTU system with an electric cone can be used as the CPT measuring system.

Anchoring is carried out using two anchors screwed in using a Hygand hydraulic wrench, connected to the penetrometer drive unit.

Powerpack and penetrometer are connected by hydraulic hoses. This allows for easy adjustment to the terrain situation.

The possibility of connecting the drive unit and penetrometer and the optional equipment with a standard hook allow for easy movement in the field.
