FVT data interpretation. VANE-pro software
VANE-pro is designed for FVT data interpretation and presentation of data generated by electric VANE test apparatus. Compatible with Geotech and Geomil files.
The most important functions are as following:
- Averaging torque values with User defined averaging step.
- Automatic selection and grouping vane tests performed in defined hole as well as generating common log for all of them.
- Automatic correction of irrelevant peaks
- Automatic calculation of Shear Strength Su with User defined correction factor and Sensitivity Sv.
- Presentation of vane test, remoulded test and speed of rotation on single graph.
- Presentation of Su and Sv vs depth.
- Saving result of interpretation in own XML format.
The shear strength τv is calculated automatically taking into account the friction on the rods and the correction factor mv.
The correction factor mv is calculated on the basis of the formulas proposed by
